Exclamation CBS changed their DTV channel; BTV won't use it

Yesterday, KFMB-DT (Channel "8" in San Diego, CA) changed their digital broadcast from 55 to 7. Now I can't figure-out how to update my BTV Channel Lineup. Ideally I could just manually update the configuration file that refers to KFMBDT on channel 55 but I haven't been able to find the file (or an apropos forum discussion). Now I'm trying to re-run the BTV Setup and it includes an option to reload the local broadcast lineup... but it still has KFMBDTV listed as ch 55. So it looks like my only choice is to do a manual scan of channels even though the setup utility warns that this will not support the Program Guide.

Is there some way to either edit the original lineup, or for Snapstream to update their master lineup for San Diego, i.e., so that they 'know' that KFMBDT is now on ch 7 ?

Re: CBS changed their DTV channel; BTV won't use it

Same Issue here, I can no longer pick up CBS ATSC in San Diego. They moved from Channell 55 UHF to channel 7 VHF and I cannot figure out how to make snapstream.net see that. What a bummer! I have put in the snapstream.net request to have it fixed. And I have been messing around with the Channels web page to see if I could create a new lineup or edit the existing to say its channel 7 instead of 55 but I cannot edit the existing one. Nor can I do anything but hide channels if I create a new one from that. I tried creating a new one from scratch in that web page but won't work right either. My TV finds the channel just fine with its builtin tuner and a snapstream scanned lineup finds it too, but then there is no channel guide associated. Double Bummer!! There must be a way to edit the existing lineup so it uses the Channel 8.1 guide but records from channel 7...

Anyone have any idea's?? I have no idea how long it will take snapstream.net to get it straighted out. -Bill
