Screen Saver causes Crash

I have this nice screen saver, it was made in flashwave. It runs fine by it's self, it also runs fine with PVS running. However when the screensave is on and snapstream starts a recording, the system locks down. On thing I hae noticed about the screen saver is it logs me out of the desktop, but my programs are still running, it looks like it engages the switch-user. Any Ideas on how to run the two together?

[shakes head] PVS and screen savers / ACPI functions do not jive. ACPI functions have a workaround that's rather ghetto but allows you to use them.

The screensaver has a good work around too. Don't use it. Don't think I'm being flippant. I just turn my monitor off when I'm done with my computer. "Screen saver" is a misnomer anyways. The only monitors that suffer a burn-in effect have been obsolete for more than a dozen years.
