Move ti New Computer All SHows marked as Locked

I am suer this has been answered before but I can't find the answer. I moved to a new hard drive. All of the existing shows that had been recorded show up as locked.

In the past I think I just unchecked the readonly flag on the files and that fixed the problem. For some reason that doesn't seem to work any more.

What is the correct process to fix this problem.

unchecking readonly flag should work.

Unless you perhaps have a permissions issue? Does the user accnt running btv have read/write access to the files?

I don't think it is a permissions issue. When I firsts started up BTV all of the shows were locked. After I turned the readonly flag off, some of the shows became unlocked but most were not. I would hate to have to go down the list one file at a time and unlock it.

oh ok. I think there is a setting in the xml file that tells btv whether to import all shows as read only or not
