Harmony 890 Firefly mini - sluggish

I have the Harmony 890 and have set it up the Firefly mini as a device. For some reason the 890 is sluggish, but the mini remote works fine. I have tried setting the delay for the mini device in the 890 setup to 0ms, but that didn't do a damn thing. Any suggestions?

I would suggest in contacting logitech support. They are able to tweek the settings better than you are allowed to with their software. How are you using? Are you running just the remote or the RF to the IR extender? If the latter, I would try only from the remote (ir) to see if it's the same (sluggish).

using IR for my setup. I am also using RF, but that is controlling different devices in another room.

I contacted Harmony support. Level 2 support told me that it may just be slow and nothing can be done about. I asked for it to be escalated and he told me he would engage the Language team. I will keep you posted. The 890 is slow for both my Firefly mini and media center remote. Interesting.

Does it happen with any other remote devices? TV, etc?

It is just the Firefly mini.

That's hog wash, I would contact them back. I was with level 2 several times for other reasons. Some really know what they are talking about, others are learning. I would contact them again and have them explain why your remote and your other instruments aren't' sluggish but that remote is.

I believe they need to play with other settings which you don't have access to.

There's a super-secret delay setting screen in the harmony config that you have to use to make it not slow.

I forgot the exact sequence of questions you have to use to get to the menu (you have to go through their troubleshooting menu). I'll try to look it up when I get home tonight.

Kilrsat, what is the value you put in? 0 or 100 or other?
