PVR 500 Dual Tunner - Can not get tuner 2 to work

I can not watch one channel while recording another. If I try to change the channel, it wants me to stop the recording.

Also, I have the silver remote from Hauppauage and I do not have the irremote.ini file to edit. I loaded the KB912024 to make it correct in the Device Manager.

HELP PLEASE

Jeffrey.Blodgett@US.Army.Mil

Thank you,

JEFF

Re: PVR 500 Dual Tunner - Can not get tuner 2 to work

Did you setup both tuners in the setup wizard? You need to tell BTV that there are two tuners; and then you can test them in the setup wizard so BTV can verify that they are both working.

Make sure that you have not selected the same tuner in setup for both tuners!

Re: PVR 500 Dual Tunner - Can not get tuner 2 to work

I've noticed something with the PVR-500 also. I checked my video sources and they list both tuners (capture1 and capture2). But when looking at my conflicting recordings list, I noticed that BTV is not using both tuners to resolve the conflict (e.g. show A set to record on channel 12 at 1:00am and show B set to record on channel 22 at 1:00am). This is a conflict to BTV even though I have two tuners. It might be a setting, but I have all my recordings set to 'any enabled' input . I will investigate this more when I get time...

*edit* I guess I should move this to another topic, sorry (but it is kind of related).
