Play .ts Files?

I'm using VideoRedo to cut out commercials. Unfortunately, VideoRedo saves to .ts or .mpg format. In order to play it in BTV, I need to rename the file to .tp.

1. Is there any way to play .ts files in BTV?
2. Is it possible to save to .tp file in VideoRedo?

I used to use VideoReDo exclusively, but now use Womble, add I can't remember if you are able to save to the extension of your choice. However, you should have no trouble manually editing the extension from .ts to .tp. They are exactly the same video stream; only the extension differs.

Re: Play .ts Files?

I've saved files in VideoReDo as mpg files and had no problem playing them back with BTV4. All of the file types mentioned are just variations of mpeg2 files in a different wrapper. Any of them should play back fine in BTV4.

Re: Play .ts Files?

I'll see whether BTV recognizes and plays .mpg files.

Re: Play .ts Files?

I have played mpeg files in BTV. If you can not then something is screwy! BTV lives in an mpeg world!

Re: Play .ts Files?

I really wished snapstream used the *.ts extension. This causes me various headaches.
