add channel to lineup

I run a single tuner system. What I want to do is add a channel to my lineup that is not listed in my current lineup. For example, add a los angles local channel to my atlanta lineup. I know the channel number and have added that lineup to my snapstream.net account, but it does not show in btv.

suggestions?

does that mean I can't add another channel lineup to a single tuner system?

Hmm. Go into Setup Wizard and add an additional lineup for whatever LA system you know of. Then, go into Web Admin, go to the LA Lineup, and delete all channels not relevant to you. Perhaps a PITA, but the only way I can think of!

However... you wouldn't be trying to let someone else in LA use your licensed copy of BTV, would you?

that's what I did pretty much. I added the other lineup on the snapstream.net site, then I ran the wizard and it automatically added that lineup to the web admin. I then went into the web admin and removed all the channels except for the one channel I want to see. upon viewing the guide the channel was not there. I can add and remove channels from my standard lineup with no trouble.

not sharing anything here. I can just get some channels from another lineup near here (not really LA).

You might need to restart BTV and force a guide update.
