Minor Annoyance
Whenever I am watching a movie on live tv, I often like to pause it and go do some other activity for 30 minutes or so. This way when I go back to the tv I can watch the movie and fast forward through commercials. Because it is not a program I really care about, I do not want to do a manual recording. I just want to fast forward through commercials.
My problem is when I am finished fastforwarding through a commercial break, and I push play. I then push exit so the information goes off the screen. However, for whatever reason, either I held down the Exit button too long or pushed it twice in a fit of impatience because the display lagged in going off the screen, I then exit the live tv and go to the main menu. As you all know now that I'm on the main menu I've lost all that backed up show. My point being, does anyone know of a way to keep this from happening or is there anyway to get that backed up show back? I know the easiest solution is just to record, but that's not what I want to do. Petty? Yes probably, but that's my problem. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Minor Annoyance
Use the ok (enter) button to get rid of the information, instead of exit...

Re: Minor Annoyance
IIRC, pressing the Play Button on the FF Remote again also makes the guide info disappear.
