Confused about digital cable
I have a tv tuner card that I've been using and it's working fine. Just recently I got digital cable and I can't figure out how to get it to record the digital channels. I heard you have to use S-video but I've used the S video and the red, yellow, white cables from the cable box to the card, but I get nothing. Is there another different digital cable converter I have to buy? I've looked around online, but can't see to come up with any real conclusive answer.

Re: Confused about digital cable
need to give us more info of what capture card your using, type of cable box your using, computer specs might help.
There is NO digial cable tuner card. You should either use the s-video (video only) then the red and white for sound. OR use the YELLOW (video) and red and white (sound). The s-video will get you a little better picture than with the yellow rca jack. |
