beyondtv sagetv driver conflict?

So, I just like to try different things now and then, but already having beyondtv installed, i tried sage tv, with beyondtv completely not running. My PC just died and rebooted with fatal error three times. uninstalled sagetv, and it said that I needed to stop beyondtv again, before it could finish. Do these programs use the same files to run?
