Must I manually delete old shows?

My snapstream store is starting to take up a significant amount of hard drive space (over 10GB). I was under the impression that old shows would automatically be deleted. Why are there shows from over three months ago still in the store? Must I manually delete old shows?

You can actually set snapstream to limit the disk space that it uses for each store. This is under configure->stores, select edit for the store you want to change and then set the maximum space used for the store and save the changes.

Once the maximum disk space limit has been reached, does it simply delete the oldest file?

Ah, it worked! Thanks.

So Snapstream would have happily filled up nearly 80GB of space, eh? Seems like a silly setting by default. Anyway, thanks for your help.

Maybe, but on the other side of the coin, people would be screaming bloody murder if Snapstream automatically deleted some shows they wanted to keep.

So as far as default settings go, you will never make EVERYONE happy.
