Tuning Problems
I just bought a brand new Hauppauge WinTV - HVR 950 set up the software included with it and installed Beyond TV. I watched TV perfectly fine with the WinTV 2000 but when I tried the auto channel search with Beyond TV it came back with no channel found. I'm using analog cable. Can someone help me please?

Well, it is not the right choice for analog cable. It's really an OTA HD card. I don't even know if it will do analog but if it does it would be a software encoder.

I use the HVR 950 with beyond and analog cable, make sure in the setup wizard you pick analog cable and not digital antenna which is the default. I never got the option to scan for channels, mine just picked up the ones from snapstream.com's service.
