DIRECTV Tuners - which one is ideal for BTV?
Hello All,
I'm just curious. A lot of Directv STB's are on ebay pretty cheap. I've been using my 4-5 year old RCA stb's with serial tuning. I'm curious if I'll get better picture quality if I go with say a d10-100 or d10-300 or a sony or something else. Svideo into my pvr150 cards now. |

Re: DIRECTV Tuners - which one is ideal for BTV?
I have used both the older RCA's and now 2 d-10's and 2 d-11"s and the picture quality seem to be much the same. I like the graphics much better in the RCA's, not as sterile looking, menus, guides etc. Also some of the older RCA's have digital audio coaxial out none of the newer ones do. I wish I had my old ones back. Just my two cents worth hope it helps. Soundsnake8
