Nvidia DualTV + Time Warner Cable Digital Cable

I've been a long time computer whizz, but I've never built an HTPC till now. So right now I have a Nvidia DualTV hooked up to my Time Warner Cable Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3250 set top cable box. Can I record 2 seperate channels at once with the set top box as source? Or can I watch live and record another at the same time? If its not possible, can I do it through another TV Tuner and a cable splitter? Thanks for the help!

No, you need 2 sources to record 2 channels or record 1 and watch another.

Either 2 cable boxes or 1 cable box and cable from the wall for the other.

A splitter is required for this.

Re: Nvidia DualTV + Time Warner Cable Digital Cable

If you want to use two cable boxes, search for posts I've made. I literally just posted the instructions on how to do it 1 minute ago.
