Audio in setup, no audio during recordings

I have two tuners: ATI (Analog) TV Wonder and ATI HDTV tuner.

The HDTV model works fine. The video and audio for the TV Wonder is fine inside setup, but when a show records using the TV wonder, there is no audio. There is no audio for the TV Wonder during live TV.

There is a male-to-male audio connector between TV Wonder and the sound card, but the connection is fine (since I have audio in setup). I connected the audio to the line-in.

I hear audio coming in from the line-in (via volume properties), but BTV is not playing the audio. (Why doesn't this work? Video is delayed by 2 seconds. Hearing explosions/gunfire before the characters retract is a buzz kill.)

I removed and added the source in BTV setup and BTV web admin without any charges.

This setup worked months ago, but one day my half of my recordings did not have audio.


Any suggestions -- short of reformatting my computer -- or links to suggestions would be appreciated.
