Smart skip not working

I have Smart Skip enabled and it does not appear to work on any recordings. I have looked at each show in the Web admin and SmartChapters and Streamsnip are greyed out. I checked all my settings and it is set enabled. I recently moved the setting to Generate immediately to see if that has any affect.

When you select a program to play, does it say that the Smart Skip job is pending or available? Select from the list of recorded programs and the next screen is a summary of the show and will allow you to play, delete, return to recorded programs, etc. On that screen is where it will show either "Smart Skip is Pending" or "Smart Skip is Available" .

You don't happen to have windows media player 11 installed? That can cause that to stop working. You'll have to uninstall it and posibley use system restore to get back before you installed it to get it all working again. Hope this helps

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't have anything that says anything about Smart Skip at all. When I look at that screen, my options are

• Play
• Delete file
• Keep until
• Add to DVD
• Back to recorded shows

And that is it.

I also do not have Windows Media Player 11 installed.

The "Generate Imediately" setting did not help, still no smart skip.
