max file size error when pausing live hdtv?

So I get home around 8:10 and start live tv on fox, hit pause, alt+enter, then minimize, hoping to watch the show after I get a few things done.

I get done at 8:45, ready to watch tv, and when I try to maximize BTV (by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting maximize) I get an error message popup (shoulda written in down, something about rendering) and when I click okay it exits BTV. I studied the log below, and it looks like I got some maximum file size error... is there a limit to how long I can pause live hdtv or something? Cuz I know I've recorded hour long shows before (not paused) and had no problem with file size. And there's plenty of room left on the drive.

I ran BTV again, and there's no trace of it in recorded shows (i know I didn't record it, but I was hoping anyways). Checked the drive itself and it's not there either. Guess BTV deleted it when it got the error, aRGH!

That message just means that the live tv slice reached the maximum slice size specified in your configuration, so it opened a new slice to continue buffering in.
