Secondary Display and Overlay v4.4

I can't get the video to work on the secondary display when using overlay mode, the overlay shows and a black screen for the video portion. It works in 3D, but it's too choppy.

I want to use my computer for other things and with BTV also, so I really need to be able to use it this way. My computer is on the other end of the house from teh TV, which is the secondary display.

I have tried to follow these instructions (http://snapstream.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticl eid=1436 ) but I don't have this entry in my registry. It must be for v4.3 only?

Any ideas?
