downloading .wmv shows through Pocket IE on WM5
I regularly showsqueeze shows to .wmv files to be shown on my WM5 device. I would like to download those files directly to the mini-SD card of my WM5 phone using an internet connection. I can login to the web admin using Pocket IE, and navigate to the page for a particular show, but the download link doesn't work.
I believe the URL to download a file should be: http://<ip address>:8135/shows/<show location> but after clicking on the download link from Pocket IE, my Pocket IE browser instead comes up with http://<ip address>:8129/show=<show location> I've tried manually typing what I believe to be the proper URL (with port 8135), after which Pocket IE shows "Opening..." for a long period of time, but I was expecting to see a download dialog that would let me select a location. Maybe the "Opening..." is an indication that the file is downloading and I just haven't given it enough time, but I know the file won't fit in the main memory of the phone so I don't want it to continue unless I've specified to put it on my mini-SD card. Has anyone downloaded videos directly to their WM5 device using Pocket IE? If so, what do I need to be doing? Thanks in advance.

Re: downloading .wmv shows through Pocket IE on WM5
Heck, I would just have BTV copie them to the shared directory of the PPC then ActiveSync will move them during the next sync. That is what I plan to do when I get my new one.

Re: downloading .wmv shows through Pocket IE on WM5
I'm still not happy with my WM5 device when access BTV's web pages, and I don't think BTV is the problem, but it's still frustrating.
Let me also answer the question, "Why use the URL?" I'm trying to download shows while I'm on the road so I can watch them on plane flights on my way back home. I don't activesync from my home desktop, and certainly not via the internet, so that's not a great option for me. The web interface is awesome when I'm on my laptop, but Microsoft's browser in WM5 is really annoying me. Today (from my WM5 device) when I try to select "Options" for a show in the Library list I am getting the BTV message, "The show was not found. Try hitting back and selecting the show again." I have selected multiple shows repeatedly, and verified the URL, but still get that error message. WM5 doesn't appear to replace spaces in URL's with %20, so I even tried that manually but BTV still doesn't find the show. This has worked fine for me many times in the past, or I never would have been able to get to the download button to post my original problem. The web interface works perfect from standard IE and Firefox, which is why I believe the WM5 browser is the core problem. I'm just hoping I can identify the specific problem so I might be able to change the BTV browser interface to work around WM5's limitations. Has anyone else has bad or good experiences using the web interface with WM5?
