Link 4.3 and Vista 5456 = No Go

I installed Beyond TV Link 4.3 on Vista Build 5456 and the BTV3DShell process will start and immediately close without any errors or warning. This is my first test run with Windows Vista so I am not sure if previous builds were working correctly with Link or not. Does anyone have any similar experiences running Beyond TV or Beyond TV Link on this platform?

I have an AMD Athlon64 3700+ S754
1 GB PC3200 DDR RAM
BFG GeForce 6800GT

Well, I guess that isolates the problem to my setup in this case. Would you happen to have any information regarding the video adapater you are using as well as the driver version?

Re: Link 4.3 and Vista 5456 = No Go

I have BTV 4.3 running on Vista build 5472.
It is working, mostly.
It complains that there are no audio devices, but has audio when watching tv, but no audio in the UI. No biggie.
The main executable, beyondtv.exe needs to be run as administrator, otherwise program guide data won't get downloaded.
I even have it working with OTA HD, so I am pretty happy.
So far, I have been unable to get the web app working.

Sorry... didn't realise this was about Beyond TV Link and not Beyond TV

Dennis
