Scanning for channels problem

Hi,

I live in Australia and I recently downloaded BTV 4.3 (trial version) as I was disappointed with the standard software that shipped with my DVICO FusionHDTV Plus DVB card.

Setting up the software was fine, but I hit a problem when using the config wizard to scan for find the channels (free-to-air digital broadcasts). I select the card that I use in the configuration wizard, and I set "Antenna (Analog)" as my video source (I use a standard RF antenna connected to my PCI-based TV card with a coaxial cable). When BTV autoscans for channels, nothing comes up. I cannot try changing the video source to "Antenna (Digital)" as this option is greyed out.

I realise that there are few, if any, Australian users here, so you may not have experienced the same problems, but if anyone can shed some light on the issue or make any reccomendations, I would be most grateful!!!

No go with digital cards in Oz im afraid.

BTV only supports ATSC

Oh......thanks mattie (I guess I'll have to keep trying for something else)

I'm not too sure what ATSC is, but I guess it is some kind of transmission standard used in certain parts of the worlds but not Australia???? BTW, what is used in Oz then?
