Can you Record shows to Mapped drive?

I was wondering if I could share off a large hard drive from my machine to record shows to? If so will it maintain good quality?

As long as your network connection is good (I wouldn't trust wireless) this should be no problem. Try a forum search on UNC. You might want to use it instead of a drive letter.

I do it. Using a 100mb wired LAN. I also record locally (C: drive) and showsqueeze it to a folder on my server.

No problems.

Don't try it on wireless... won't work worth s###e.
