Network 2 Network Viewing with DTV Link

I have 3 different Networks setup at my office (10.0.0.x, 192.168.0.x, & 10.0.8.x) How would I have to setup my routers to access the BTV server (its on the 10.0.0.x network). (Which ports has to be forwarded for Link to work).
All 3 Routers are on differnet external Class C IP Addresses ( 12.174.156.x, 12.174.157.x & 12.174.158.x)

Re: Network 2 Network Viewing with DTV Link

Try directly specifying the IP address of the server in the commandline

//networkclient:xx.xx.xx.xx

but I suspect it won't work.

No it don't. Something needs to be setup in the router to forward ports

This might help. Though for BTV Link it only really talks about UPnP.

Re: Network 2 Network Viewing with DTV Link

If you just have a couple machines (less than 16), you could use the VPN method. I'm using this over broadband, but it would work better inside a LAN.

Check out my post in this thread:

Slingbox

Go down to post #10 and following. In your situation, all you need is the Hamachi VPN software installed on all the machines that need to communicate. When you fire up BTV link, it will search the local network AND the Hamachi network, including any members of that network.
