Zone help for usb uirt

In BTV, I'm using usb-uirt to controll my Direct TV HD H20 Receiver with no problems. I would like to add another Standard Definition receiver and am not sure how the zone thing works....

I have an ir emitter (bug?) that came with my Hauppauge PVR 150. Can I continue to use the main usb-uirt to control my HD receiver, and plug the bug into the back of the usb-uirt, and use that to control my SD receiver? If so, I have no idea how to setup zones. I've searched and read some things on other posts but it's just not clear to me how to do it yet.

Rather than using zones, see if you can change the frequency on the second box. Then use its remote to 'learn' the codes into BTV. The single USB-UIRT can then point at both boxes.

And the bug from Hauppauge is a receiver not an emitter.

Thanks for that, I will look into it tonight. The bug thing I got with the Hauppauge has 1 stereo mini jack type end, and 2 other ends, one looks like a trans and one looks like a rec. I dunno....
