mpeg doesn't display as "full screen" in secondary monitor

I've tried getting help through Nvidia, but so far no luck - hoping someone here has experienced this as well.

I have an Nvidia GeForce 6200 TurboCache video card. Beyond TV4 running out to tv as my secondary monitor via svideo. Record via MPEG on highest quality setting.

On my Nvidia settings, I have it set to display video as full screen on my secondary monitor (my tv). When I test, WMV files display full screen, AVI files display full screen, but MPEGs display in a window. The picture quailty is good, but it's a pain to adjust/stretch the window on my computer to fill the tv.

I have multiple mpeg decoders installed, and have tried changing all the settings I can think of both on my Nvidia control panel & my beyond tv playback settings.

Anyone have any ideas of what I can try next?
I'm fairly new to the whole computer video scene, so I haven't modified registry or anything like that...

Thanks -
Robert.

Have you tried setting the tv as the primary display?

Re: mpeg doesn't display as "full screen" in secondary monitor

When I change my tv to my primary, and my monitor to my secondary, I can no longer change my monitor to the screen resolution of 1280 x 1024. The max it gives me is 1024 x 768...

It doesn't make much sense to me. Also, when I use the "allow hardware video overlay" mode in winamp, these Mpegs play upside down, and in a window mode, not full screen. When I uncheck winamps option "allow hardware video overlay", the video plays normal and is full screen, although the quality is good, but not as good.

Thanks for the response.
