Volume Help

1.) Ok my first problem is that on both my ATI TV WONDER PRO PCI (whatching basic able channels) and my Fusion HDTV5 Gold (Whatching DT channels) cards the commericials audio is a lot louder than the actual tv show. This is kind of werid anyone know why something like this would happen?

2.) Also my second problem is that the volume on my ATI TV WONDER PRO PCI when whatching live cable tv is a lot louder than when whatching live HDTV on my
Fusion HDTV5 Gold.

What could i do to fix this could i connect the internal sound wire to the cd digital connector instead of auxiliary? Or did i not connect the cable correctly or what?

Re: Volume Help

Sounds like a 5.1 surround issue. The shows are in 5.1 and the commercials are not. 5.1 movies always seems quieter because they have more dynamic range.
Are you connecting to your sound system via SPDIF, 5.1 or stereo only?
What kind of sound card are you using?

Re: Volume Help

Try it in stereo mode and let us know if that fixes the volume issue.
