Cannot silence volume when recording in 4.0

Hello, I recently upgraded to version 4.0 from 3.4 and I have one problem. I am usually doing other things on my computer when recording shows, and with 3.4 this was completely silent while running in the background. The recordings were always great and I had no problems with the audio. With this new version, the audio can be heard when recording, I tried muting the channel that BTV uses for audio, but that resulted in no sound at all in the recording. This is probably a very easy thing to fix, but how can I silence the audio while Beyond TV is recording?

It sounds like you're using a software encoder card, you'll need to specify what sound card you're using, are you using a Creative card? If so, you'll have to go through and mute the "what you hear" on playback.
