frame rate of hauppage

When i record - i get a message in the log that pvs was unable to set the frame rate. So i dont think i can change the quality of the recording. any ideas

I am using Hauppage USB on win XP.

what frame rate are you using (what is set for that quality)? or does it do this every time a recording takes place no matter what is set?
