Depending on the STB you should be able to. Worst case scenerio is to use a splitter after the STB to go to the PC and the TV.

Re: 1 reciever to TV and PC

Why not have your computer on to watch TV? The whole purpose of having BeyondTV is to reap the benefits of having a machine that is better than an off the shelf DVR. You could have the computer go to a sleep mode when not recording. Anyways.... to answer your question, if you want to watch tv directly from the satellite receiver, you could use one of the outputs from the satellite into one of the inputs of the tv such as aux 2. If you don't have more than one input into the tv then I guess you'd need a switch box. Of course you would then have to make sure not to change the channel if beyondtv is supposed to record some other channel. I never watch real live tv anymore since BTV and if I happen to want to then I'd switch to BTV live anyways in case the phone rings in the middle of something good...

Re: 1 reciever to TV and PC

Thanks for the reply. My STB has 2 video and audio output and an RF coaxial jack. So will i able to output both my tv and pc? I have a 24 inch SONY WEGA and a 19inch LCD so i would prefer watching tv on my sony wega.
