BTV4 and serial support for old RCA receivers?
I just installed the trial version of BTV4. I have an RCA DRD502RB DirecTV receiver with low-speed serial port. It doesn't change channels properly.
My cable works fine, I can change channels with other apps that can control the receiver through the serial port. Using a serial port sniffer, it looks like BTV4 is sending a power-on code and then a channel changing code immediately, when the protocol specifies that it must wait for a confirmation code from the receiver between commands. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
