no live tv or recorded programs

just upgraded to btv 4. Cannot get live tv- it says "sorry, but we are unable to start viewing tv. The tv feed might be disconnected etc..."
I tried to view my recordings, I get this message - "This file is still corrupt or the path g:\abcd.....mpg no linger exists. Would you like to try to play it again..."
I have updated the hauppaguage drivers as requested during the btv 4 upgrade. I went through the btv setup , removed the card and added it again. I just haven't been able to figure out the problem...

I had a similar problem playing back files I had generated an art or smi file (for closed captions), I assume you are experiencing the same bug. Have you tried running setup again, see if you can get channels to display there? Submit the bug reprot, you may have an interfering program (directvobsub does it for me) that 4.0 gets messed up with. Check if any other video programs are running and try disabling.
