is the myHD MDP-130 card compatible with BTV4?

is this myHD MDP-130 capture card compatible with BTV4?

i checked the compatible cards list and didn't see it on there. i also didn't see it on the incompatible cards list either.

this card supports QAM. i noticed on the beyondtv hdtv bundles page it says "While Beyond TV 4 does not yet support clear-QAM, the included DVICO software does." does this matter?

does anyone have this card or know if it should work with BTV4?

thank you.

Re: suggestions for hdtv + analog dual tuner capture card

I'm using the mdp-130 and am trying to use it with btv4. What I have found is that btv4 will playback the TS files created by mdp-130, but they seem to be displayed in standard definition (poor quality picture). You have to move them over to one of your btv4 folders for btv4 to find them, but the picture is the same as you get from standard btv4 recordings.
I've got an other post out there trying to findout if anyone else is more sucessful on using the mpd-130.......no luck. I am trying to keep from buying an other HD tuner card, mostly because I dont think any other card produces the quality live and recorded results that the mdp-130 does. On the other hand btv is the finest pvr interface there is IMHO.
If anyone else wants to talk about using the mdp-130 please do.

Re: suggestions for hdtv + analog dual tuner capture card

I have played files recorded with an MDP-120 using BTV for playback and they seemed fine. You will have to use the MyHD software for scheduling and when you play them back with BTV you will not have any program info. Also, all live tv will have to be through MyHD.
