How To Auto Reboot? HTPC Slows Over Time.

Is there a way to have my PC reboot on a specific schedule? This is for my HTPC running Beyond TV. I've been using BTV 3 for about 6 months now and I've noticed that if my PC has been running for a while, BTV 3 becomes slower and the recordings are pixilated. If I reboot the machine and go back to BTV 3, everything is working ok.

I'm not sure if the problem is caused by BTV 3 or if it something else that does not like to run for a while without a reboot. All other apps seem to be working ok so that makes me think it is BTV 3. However I know a reboot will solve the problem at least for now.

Thanks for the help

Re: How To Auto Reboot? HTPC Slows Over Time.

I'm using a program called pycron. Available here

I can use the windows shutdown program to shutdown/reboot off hours, schedule the hard drive to be defragged, and run scripts like IGCutter to trim the recordings.

So far, it seems to work well.
