Recordings for PSP problem...first frame (solved)
I record tv using beyond TV mostly to use on my PSP
Convert the video using PSP video 9, and half the time it works fine... Alot of times though my PSP will freeze up only on the recordings that have "snow" at the begining. You know...that quick half second that you see when you change channels...accompanied by that familiar "changing channel sound"?! Im looking for a soulution other than, "use program ABC to edit out that first few frames" Is there a way to minimize this behavior in BTV3? Last edited by tomlow; 09-14-2005 at 01:37 AM. Re: Recordings for PSP problem...first frame
Well 26 hours later and and I haven't slept and im going to start talking to myself...LOL
Anyway if anyone is interested I had to use AviSynth to trim the begining of the mpg. Altering the avs file from psp video 9 1.71, I came up with this # PSP Video 9 - Generic File Input DirectShowSource("<%inputfile%>") Trim(50,0) return last This trims the first 49 frames off of the file leaving me with a smooth first frame and the videos now play. Doing it this way PSP Video 9 will not show you a progress bar and the estimated time left jumps all over the place, from 32 mins to 36 hours but finishes in about 30 mins for a 30 min show. At least on my machine. Mission acomplished. Going to bed |
