BTV/BTV-Link and a HTPC

Hello, all. I'm a long time customer of Snapstream and just got my system upgraded/re-installed so I could begin using BTV again. Anyway, I have the PVR500MCE now and have the server running on a P4/2.66GHz machine with 2GB RAM and a 300GB HD.

I have the following questions:

1) How can I access my beyond TV movies over the Internet from a remote location? What URL and I assume I need to ShowSqueeze the MPEG file to WMV?

2) I recently setup a junk Pentium III machine up with BTV-Link and a Radeon 128MB card and a wireless NIC. It works fine... however the PC is a bit loud. Has anyone found any decent HTPC devices that are quite and yet still affordable for running as a client PC with just BTV-Link?

Thanks -- but isn't there a default website I can go to that simply displays an HTML list of all my movies with a "Download" link? I seem to recall seeing this with earlier versions???

Re: BTV/BTV-Link and a HTPC

from the library page, hit the options button on the show you want to download. There should be a download link on that next page. If not...

from the web interface, go to

Settings ..
Advanced settings ..
web server setttings..

on that page there is a "create download links" option

also one small note....
port 8135 in your firewall needs to be open to download files.
