Problems after Windows Update?
I have been using BTV for about 2 weeks with no problems. I only use it to record a show thats on at 2 am to later be burned to DVD. The first 3 recordings were perfect, last nights was horrible. The entire episode was choppy and had large squares covering 75% of the screen. I also noticed that when viewing live TV the picture is washed out and out of sync and takes several seconds to switch channels. CPU is also between 90-100% when using live tv. I have done a virus scan and adware scans. I haven't changed anything since my original set up. The only thing was an automatic install of a windows update. I was wondering if this could be the culprit and how would I determine if it is. Would a fresh install of BTV get me back on the right track? Thanks in advance for any input..

Re: Problems after Windows Update?
I had the same issue last week, I have automatic updates enabled. Could be what happened, the odd thing is how I fixed it.
Choppy Video/Strange artifacts I dont have the below problem though. Quote:
