Greetings:
We have some info for everyone who is suffering from this issue. Note -- the drivers provided are Beta -- thus we know they work for our software -- other software is another story. Here is the KB article: http://kb.snapstream.com/?kbid=260 The driver download is on that page.

Re: PVR 150 / 500 Zoomed Issue
I use driver version 2.0.24.23025 and no longer experience the zoomed issue though I did with verision 2.0.18.22316.
I got my drivers from SHS's forum. http://www.shspvr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7103

Re: PVR 150 / 500 Zoomed Issue
Update 2:
I now have 2 PVR-150 cards and all is well (almost)! The only problem I have now is an occasional hard crash while watching live tv or playing a video that was recorded earlier. This problem started after installing the BETA drivers for the PVR-150 cards to correct the ZOOM problem. My system has crashed twice in the past week and the only way to recover is to reboot using the power switch or reset button. The last time it crashed was during a replay and when I rebooted, I found that all my setting in the viewscape had been wiped out (this did not happed the first time it crashed). Anyone else have this problem?? Mike

the recordings are all working for me w/no zoom/stretch problem any longer. i'm really happy about this and although it's taken hauppauge and snapstream 2 months since the initial reports the fact that they've worked on it and made progress is very much appreciated. if the snapstream guys are reading this i'd like to ask that you keep working ont he drivers. i don't believe that they are final and just based on a few replies in this thread it looks like they're causing live tv and recordings to crash on occassion. my feeling is that support for the PVR 150 is really important. if people will buy a lower cost hauppauge tv tuner card it only means more opportunities to snapstream and BTV. at a higher price point for the usb2 and pvr 250's the 150 is a great entry point for a new user. please keep up the work and thanks!

Re: PVR 150 / 500 Zoomed Issue
I installed the beta driver and it broke my system. I have two 150s and one of them stopped working. Removing that source and re-adding it in the setup wizard didn't work. At the test screen in the wizard it said it couldn't build the graph, whatever that means. So I Rolled Back the driver and then reran the wizard. Now both cards work again. I guess I'll stick with the workaround.

Re: PVR 150 / 500 Zoomed Issue
Me again:
I get a SYSTEM lock-up, not just BeyondTV (this also happens on occassion when I switch from full screen to windowed mode). When my system locks, only a hard reset or power off works. I never had this problem until I installed the beta drivers. Lockups only occurr during video playback or livetv. I have never had a lockup or crash when just recording. Until there is a fix, I try not to play recorded video or live tv while a recording is active. ![]() Mike

Oh man, the ONLY problem I had with BTV is this stretched video problem. It wasn't a HUGE deal, but it was annoying. I missed out on a couple things I recorded because of it. And it was also the only thing that my Father-In-Law could brag about with his TiVo. Now that these drivers took care of it, I have no problems whatsoever!
![]() Thank you, Snapstream for listening to the users and working with Hauppauge with this problem! ![]() -Chris

Re: PVR 150 / 500 Zoomed Issue
The zoomed issue is fixed with all the new drivers.. but the problem with those is that the picture quality is very bad on PAL
![]() I really hope they get rid of that soon.. atm i am using wintv2000 to record shows (and i really hate this piece of software) .. and BTV only for watching recorded shows |

Re: PVR 150 / 500 Zoomed Issue
I am having the same issue with the PVR 150 card and 2 additional PVR250 cards. One using the the Encoder-15 and the other using Encoder-16 series. If I use the workaround it works properly. Any lower resolution gives me the zoom issue. I have loaded the drivers for the 250 as instructed by article 190 in the knowledge base and also the PVR150 upgrade. Any assistance would be appriecated.
