Full update working????

I thought the guide always kept 2 weeks of data.

I've done three full updates in the past 48 hours and nothing loads past friday feb 10th 4PM EST.

It should be up to tuesday feb 14th.

What are the details with how the guide works. i.e. how does it schedule it's incremental updates. when does the data get into snapstreams net guide from the source.

Does BTV ever schedule a full update on it's own?

I find the full updates I do manually work better (except for the past 2 days).

Just did a full update and now there is 2 weeks. Does anyone know if the snapstream.net site is continually updated or is it scheduled? If scheduled I would like to be able to do scheduled updates right after the snapstream.net site is updated.

This wouldn't be a problem if I had high-speed but I'm only on dial-up. As a matter of fact it is technically impossible for me to connect higher than 28.8 because of the way the phone company has their line and junction boxes setup.

My only high speed options would cost me over 100 a month via sat.

Limiting the number of times I need to download would help but more importantly maximizing each download session would help even more.

Another option would be to download a file at work and burn it to cd and bring it home.

When I check the snapstream.net website the info is there for 2 full weeks.

Same here. My guide data is always about 10 days out.

Where does Snapstream get its 'Guide'. Seems lately that shows are wrong. I schedule shows to record, only to find out that the show it records is not what it states. And now there is a 'Ray' special on VH1, and its not listed on Snapstream's Guide, yet checking TV Guide, Yahoo TV Listings, and TV Titan... it is listed correctly. WHERE DOES Beyond TV get its listings. Thinking about going another route lately... tired of missed recordings.
