Dual Tuners Similar Cable Boxes

I have a system with a 250 and 150 using a myblaster to control to Scientific Atlanta 4200 boxes (one is HD - they use the same ir commands). Any other solution that USB-UIRT?

If I go with a USB-UIRT I will need an IR transmitter with a wire that is about 15 feet long (it needs to stretch through a wall to a box/tv in a room seperate of my other box and dvr). Do they make them this long?

I use a USB-UIRT one one of my PVRs. The computer is physically located in a closet in the basement, and the TV cable box, and receiver are in the family room. I bought an extender for the USB cable, and it works fine.

Nanook I appreciate your reply. I want to clarify what I am attempting to do b/c perhaps I do not understand the capabilities of the USB-UIRT. My ultimate goal is to prevent the changing of both boxes at the same time becuse they work off of the same codes (I believe this will happen with my MyBlaster set-up). My understanding is that USB-UIRT can create zones and that BTV views these zones as two seperate IR emittors. In theory, I thought I could use one zone with an external emitter plugged into the USB-UIRT and put over the eye of my SA 4200 HD box in the living room with my HTPC, the second zone would have an IR emitter that stretches from the USB-UIRT into my bedroom with the non-HD SA 4200 HD. Were you making an alternative suggestion that would accomplish these goals? Thanks -

No - I was just commenting on the question about the length of wire. There are a few posts in these forums that can help you set up zones.
