Shows to be recorded not showing on guide

I see this too and it is driving me crazy!

I set up a recording, and there is no notification in the program guide. I shut down BTV and restart, sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. I have also noticed the reapearing and disapearing what seams to be at random. My older recordings seem to stay, it it just the new recordings that appear to be the issue.

I also see this, but it only happens about once a week, and is fine the rest of the time. Was it occuring more than that for you ? This also occured in 3.5, so going back won't resolve this issue for you.

I uninstalled completely, deleted the "Application Data\Snapstream" folder and did a clean install of 3.5.1 and this does appear to have fixed the problem.

Definitely looks like a upgrade issue.

Yeah it was a clean install... But I did copy back settings, qualities, tuners and video folders...

I'm happy it's fixed...

However today I noticed that my lines where all reset. All tuners where set back to my primary lineup, very weird. 3.5.1 seems a little flakey if you ask me.

I', having this same issue as well. And it was not an upgrade. I'll try erasing the folders, etc. and re-install, and see what happens...

I hate to add to the strangeness of this, but I just noticed that I have this issue on one of my PVRs, but not on the other. They both were upgraded the same exact way.

OK people... Whomever is still having this issue, try this:

Backup your settings: http://kb.snapstream.com/?kbid=99

Uninstall BTV

Reboot

Install BTV 3.5.1 Clean.

That should take care of this issue - looks like an upgrade error....

I followed these instructions exactly, the problem still exists. I tried again without backing up my settings and now it's fixed!

There must be something in the application data that was the problem.

I tried the uninstall/reinstall too and used a backup of the settings as described and I still dont have the recording info showing up in the guide. Any ideas. I really rather not have to reconfigure everything again.

Unfortunately I had to re-configure everything to get the guide working, replacing the settings directory after a re-install did not work. The only good news was that I am using XLMLTV so the importer automatically re-created my lineups for me.

Uninstalling/Reinstalling and copying my old settings in worked for me. For those having problems, did you reboot between uninstall and reinstall ?
