Complete path in name

When I download a program (V 3.5) the title is the complete path --

c%3A%5Cdocuments+and+settings%5Call+users%5Cdocume nts%5Csnapstream%5Cbeyond+tv%5Cshows%West+Wing-2004-11-29-0-2.wmv --

This makes it very difficult to find anything for viewing in Windows Media Player. Is there some way to change this?

Not sure I understand. Are you trying to download a show from a remote computer using web admin, or did you download this show from the internet, and this is how it shows up in the FSI/Recordings ?

Re: Complete path in name

Do you mean recording rather than download?
You can change your default video folder for recording using the web admin.

Re: Complete path in name

I think he means recording. Anyway, if this is happening it is quite strange, and should not be happening, imo. You may need to rebuild your guide and/or folder.

Re: Complete path in name

I am downloading over the internet using web admin and I don't want to see the entire path as the name of the file, only the file name.

Re: Complete path in name

Never heard of that behavior. Using IE?
Probably some tweak in IE. I know little about it since I dislike it.

From my web admin, Library, select a show, Options, Download and the file is saved where I want by file name only. No path.
Sorry I can't help.
