Dual NIC Beyond TV Link setup.

I'm currently planning on purchasing Beyond TV 3.5. I'll be buying the all-in-one package for digital cable. The machine which will be functioning as the BTV box is the following: Pentium 4 2.8E, Intel 865G Mobo, Antec P160 Case, (2)Geil DDR400 512MB Dual Channel, Chaintech FX5950 (VIVO) 256MB, Soundblaster Audigy 2, Samsung SM352(?) DVD/CDRW Drive, 2x 80GB Western Dig HD's. I have no doubt that with the addition of the Hauppauge 250BTV card, the capture should be nice. However, I am currently using this machine as a shoutcast video server for personal use. I intend to keep doing so as well. Right now, the VIVO functionality of the video card is being used for capture via RCA jacks connected to my digital cable box. Audio capture is handled by the line input on my soundcard. As it stands right now, I can't change the channel unless I use the remote for the cablebox. With the All-in-one package, I'll get the USB-UIRT which can be used to change channels on the box (I'm assuming with the use of Girder - can anyone confirm this?).

My first questions: Can beyond tv use the VIVO on my card to capture - using the USB-UIRT to control the cablebox? That would be one tuner, then using the PVR250's tuner as a second tuner - Will this work?

I would like to do this because I want to have two tuners. SS BTV comes with a dual tuner usage license (again, if I am wrong - please correct me). Can I do this, or can the Hauppauge PVR250BTV be used for the CoAx as a tuner, and the on-card RCA's to capture from the cablebox? If not, I'll just buy another PVR-250.

Has anyone seen the Plextor PX-TV402U

Will Beyond TV support this?

Oh, and on to the main question. I have Speakeasy DSL with 8 static IP's. Currently, the box which will be running BTV is on it's own static IP (read: external WAN address) - I would like to setup BTV Link on the pc in my bedroom, but this pc is behind a router with a WAN address assigned to the router, and an internal LAN address given to the PC. If I put a 2nd NIC in the main machine with BTV (connected to the router - thus receiving a LAN address), will I be able to use BTV Link to connect to the BTV machine?

Any comments, ideas, ramblings appreciated.
