I have a DCT2524 from Comcast and it works great with BTV4, but initially I had the wrong cable and it wouldn't change the channel. Plus you can always return the cable if its not the problem.

it was the cable. All week I've been pulling my hair out and it was the cable that I bought. Thanks for all the help. Now if i could only get rid of the tv guide info every time i change channels.
