stereo audio: right channel only

Just purchased the full version, and when recording at VHS or Near VHS quality, I'm only getting audio out of the right channel (using a WinTV-PCI with stereo-tv). But the with the other settings (Medium DSL, ISDN, etc.) I get proper stereo. Any idea what's going on? Thanks!

Edit the profiles.dat file in your C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream\pvs (win2000) or C:\windows\all users\applications data\snapstream\pvs (win98/me) or C:\program files\snapstream pvs and change the following entries for Near VHS and VHS:

AudioHZ: change from 44,000 to 22,050
Audio Bitrate: change from 32000 to 16,000

See if this fixes the problem...

I ended up uninstalling everything (before I saw the info above), as well as manually deleting every reference to 'snapstream' from the registry, and anything else snapstream-related on the HD. Then rebooted, then installed the full version. The audio seems to be working now. (As well as the other problem I posted about, concerning the full version thinking it's the free version) I'll post here if it starts happening again. Thanks!
