No Qualities installed in Win2000

I was previously using v.1.2 under Win2k which worked fine. Now I have re-formatted and re-installed Win2k on my machine and installed version 1.5 for the first time. No qualities have been installed.

Where was Snapstream PVS installed ? is it in C:\Program Files\Snapstream PVS ?
What are the files located in C:\Documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream\pvs...
Is there a reg key called ShellFolderPaths in hkey_current user\software\snapstream mdeia\pvs\ ?

I installed everything to the default directories. I'm not sure about the regkey as I've already removed it all, installed version 1.2 and upgraded it to 1.5.

The reason that I reformatted my Win2k in the first place is because all of the sound in the machine disappeared except when I was watching TV using the Hauppage Win TV Go programs or recording using Snapstream.

This was not due to any visible problems with the audio mixer. I'm not sure whether it's the Hauppage drivers or Snapstream that's causing the problem.

I'm currently rebuilding the machine from scratch again but I'm not going to put Snapstream on again for a while and I'll see whether all non-Hauppage audio disappears again.

This last time, the audio seemed to go missing when I changed to using VFW as opposed to DirectShow. I did this because It wasn't recording anything with the default DirectShow settings.

I think it's a great product you have. It's just a pitty that it(or Hauppage) doesn't seem to agree with my machine
