Re: Motorola DCT2224 which IR works?
I use a 9-pin serial cable and girder. Works 99.9% of the time for recordings, although BTV seems to send corrupted messages when I first go into live TV. For example, selecting channel 241 will send 2-4-1 [pause] 2-1, thus I end up on the wrong channel. Once live TV is activated, though, changing channels works fine.
I recommend this route, though I understand that not all DCT2224's have their serial ports activated. Mark |

Re: Motorola DCT2224 which IR works?
Started with the IR Blaster(appears to be a IR200L) that is still available at the SS store(technically unsupported). Worked ok limited range decent accuracy.
Now I use a serial cable and a serialtuner plugin I compiled and almost 100% accurate. Keith Last edited by Keith; 06-25-2004 at 09:19 AM. |

Re: Motorola DCT2224 which IR works?
Has anyone try "MyBlaster RF USB" from http://www.mytvstore.com/product_id_006.html .....or any comparison with the USB-UIRT IR Blaster? Thanks.
