Temp internet files?? Please read

Can someone explain this for me:
Yesterday, Just before I left for work, I had notepad, ie, girder and a little prog called Dimension4< this polls a time server and adjusts my sys time every day> running Nothing else. Boom BSD Memory dump was in a hurry so didn't see what caused it. On reboot I loaded btv so I wouldn't miss 24. 12 hours later get home load up livetv OMG Vid is all jumpy starts stops skips does same thing in wintv32. Load 24 in btv perfect recording.

Thinking oh well time to go ahead reformat and start from scratch. So today I figured I'd see if I could figure it out. Load btv start livetv Boom exception error. Jeez what the heck! Still not wanting to give up I run disk clean up as a prep to scan disk and defrag. Temp internet files was huge. .. Deleted ...Ran BTV Livetv is perfect again.

Where does BTV wintv32 store the basic recordings( by this I mean store the stuff for livetv)? I assumed it was in common(default). I moved all my record to folders off my C drive thinking it would help. My windows partition is pretty small. Maybe I need to set vertual memory to another drive folder?<< planned to do this on reformat at least give it it's own partition.

Now I'm gonna have to play with the settings some more. Any advice?

in the config stuff there is a place you can adjust the temp location for time shifting and all. I THINK this is what ya mean. It defaults to like C:\documents and settings\user\btv (not right but you get the point.)

Try adjusting that to a new hard drive or reformat and use a larger drive for your OS drive. Use the smaller one as file space.
