storage question for btv

i want to change my storage location from docs and settings on the C drive to a 160gb drive i got just for btv. when i try to change the location the only option is "common"

how do i go about adding that other drive?

You have to create a new folder in the web admin first. Settings/Video Folder Create new.
Then Settings/Recording Preferences choose your newly created folder (it will become the default).
Repeat for as many folder as you want.

You should be able to :

- Create a new folder, entering the path of that new folder, or
- Edit the "common" folder, entering a path on the large drive.

Just make sure you either create the actual folder before going into the settings of BTV, or to check the box telling BTV to create the folder if they don't already exist.

BTW, you can configure BTV, including folders by using the Web interface.
