Scheduled shows in recording manager but not in upcoming events

I found the thread similar to this problem and shut down BTV and removed, to a safe place, the jobcollection.xml, then re-added the scheduled recordings with the same results, the scheduled shows appear in the recording manager tab but not in the upcoming recordings tab, which I think is the money tab! I am running build 899.

You guys have anything in your logs about failed updates. You might want to go into the web admin and try a manual program guide download and see if that helps.

I have tons of entries in the logs about failed guide updates, yet when I view the EPG there seems to be guide data for several days out.

I was thinking that it was the holiday season that sidelined a few shows, and that was the reason I missed the weekly recordings. Now, I'm wondering if it is missing recordings like your BTV systems are doing.

On a side note, I have contacted support about the guide update errors in the log and have yet to hear back from them after a week. I guess i'm not an isolated case.

I don't have anything in the logs about the missed shows, and I am able to update the guide without problems.

I am frustrated with the lag time on SS tech support. I know BTV was only $60, but you send in a trouble ticket and 3-4 days later you get an email request for more info, then 3-4 more days before you get any kind of response.

As far as i remember i didn't have any errors in my 3.4 logs, can't check now. I thru in the towel last night and rebuilt in 3.3. I can live with out most of the improvements that were in 3.4. I need the stability that 3.3 has. Tho i do miss the easier to search program guide.
