Question XML uk help for n00b

I've had snapstream a couple of weeks, upgraded on Friday. Really nice piece of software.
Unfortunately I've been up for hours and hours reading this and any other resource I can find. I'm afraid it time to ask for help.
I have the feeling someone reading this will know the answer.

when I run XMLTV to get info or 41 channels I get this message at the end:

parsing ###different XMLTV ids for Ananova id 139 at pearlapp/grab/uk/tv_grab_uk line 703.

when I try to open the resulting uk.xml (49k) I get this.

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following tags were not closed: tv. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Program Files/SnapStream Media/Personal Video Station 3/xmltv/uk.xml'.

Other XML files related to Snapstream 3.3 open fine .

ALl help greatly appreciated.

Bill.

It sounds like your xmltv install is having problems with the data source.

Make sure you're running the latest version of xmltv (0.5.24). You can grab it from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/x...2.zip?download

If you are running the latest xmltv, one other thing to consider is that your xmltv configuration is messed up.

To fix that, look for a directory called .xmltv (not the leading period), that will be sitting in the directory where you run xmltv.

If you delete that directory and all of its contents, you re-run the "tv_grab_uk --configure" and start fresh.

Ctebo,
Thanks for the suggestions, I've tried both a number of times with no luck. I get the same error every time.

Unhappy

It would appear the problem was the adult channels, when I leave these out every thing works fine!
